When immediate answers were needed, we relied on knowledgeable individuals - friends, teachers, or experts - whose timely insights were invaluable.
The internet and search engines like Google revolutionized how we find information. These tools made it possible to locate relevant documents in seconds rather than hours or days. However, this also created a cumbersome "search, scroll, click" routine that often leaves users sifting through multiple sources to piece together complete answers.
AskFlow's mission is to reimagine this experience by combining artificial intelligence with a human-centric approach. Instead of searching through results, we ask you to simply ask. We call this platform an "Ask" engine. The goal is to deliver precise, intuitive answers with speed and accuracy. Think of AskFlow as your knowledgeable companion - one that not only provides answers but also helps take action, saving you valuable time while ensuring you get exactly what you need.

Technology
Based on large language models, we employ a different training and evaluation strategy that put human experience as central part of our objectives and evaluation criteria. Through RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), the objective we optimize is not only helpfulness/faithfulness. Rather, your experience on the "ask" engine is the top priority and the objective.
Different questions deserve different strategies and base models for delivering the best experience. Therefore, we build a model router, aiming to achieve the best balance considering the complexity, expected latency tolerance, language, etc. Each ask can be processed by different models and strategies.
For more complex inquiries, we employ sophisticated AI agents that can execute multi-step research workflows, conducting thorough analysis and filtering relevant information (research mode). When a direct answer isn't immediately available, our system provides clear guidance and suggestions to help you get there (guiding mode). We also deploy agents for streaming line the automatic evaluation by simulating real human users with diverse user profiles.
